Big curiosity.
Everyday questions.

What’s worth your attention? What actually matters? And what’s hiding in the fine print?

Snooze Research is a publishing project from Snooze Capital. We build focused consumer websites around the decisions that deserve more thought than a star rating.

Our first subject is sleep. Through SleepGrades, we bring product information and published research into guides that make the details easier to compare. As we grow, each publication will have its own subject and identity—and the same habit of looking closer.

Open a question. Follow the thinking.

A little more
“Why?”

A useful answer starts before the search. Here are three questions we bring to a product claim, a comparison, or a promising headline.

Q.01Better—for whom?

A recommendation needs a person and a context. Budget, preferences, and tradeoffs can change what makes sense.

For exampleA mattress that suits one sleeper may feel completely different to someone with another sleep position or comfort preference.

Q.02What supports that claim?

A manufacturer’s specification, a published study, and a hands-on observation answer different questions. We want readers to know which one they’re looking at.

For exampleA material described as “cooling” is a starting point for research, not proof that everyone will sleep cooler.

Q.03What could change the answer?

Products are revised. Policies change. Evidence develops. Useful guidance should make its limits visible and leave room for a different conclusion.

For exampleA new mattress construction or a changed return policy can matter more than an old review score.

One subject. A world of questions.

The answer is only as good as the work.

Curious by nature.
Careful by design.

(01)

Ask a useful question.

Start with a real decision. Find the details that could change someone’s mind, not just fill a page.

(02)

Show your working.

Make the sources visible. Separate published evidence, product claims, and first-hand experience.

(03)

Stay open to better.

Leave room for uncertainty. Revisit the work when products change or new evidence gives us a reason to.

What readers should be able to see.

The source
Where the information comes from, and whether it is research, a product claim, or direct experience.
The scope
The product or version covered, the questions considered, and the limits of the review.
The context
Relevant commercial relationships, meaningful updates, and a way to raise a correction.

Research is a method, not a promise of certainty. Our publications explain their review process and identify where hands-on testing or medical review has—and hasn’t—taken place.
